Architecture and lines are the key elements of Michael Koester´s photography.
The artist was born in Berlin, as a photographer he takes his time focussing on details putting them in the centre of his works. He creates new perception through unusual perspectives.
It is a challenge to see what is special within the urban every day life and catching these elements on photo. For the artist this is not about a specific statement but about depicting the architecture and its special features the way he perceives them.
It is the aim to lead the eye of the viewer to the bare essentials and to create an aesthetic composition, to detach from the hectic every day life and to connect to the man-made structures.
