Reclaiming her power within, Woman + Wolf is the exploration into the wild woman archetype, a deep-rooted connection to self, spirit, nature and a woman’s innate wildness: the female psyche mirrored within the wolf. Unfolding, is the unshaken, empowered origins of a woman’s intuition and sacred feral truth. More than connecting archetypes this series reveals a relation into wholeness, connecting the conscious and unconscious selves visually and philosophically.

Melissa Amber + Ashley Nicole are conceptual fine artists known as Sisters Of The Woods. Residing in British Columbia, Canada the women use the lens of photography to intuitively explore many aspects of multi sensory experiences. In their photographic explorations they open the doors to a powerful sensuality and partnership within self (psyche) and the wildness of nature. More than connecting archetypes and wildness to life, these photographers give their works a creative relation into wholeness; a discovery that touches the women both on a personal and artistic level.

Forever faithful to their intuition, they seek to uncover the dance between the invisible and visible worlds in which we experience life, and the links within the silent communications of nature, pattern, symbolism and the inherent mystery of the unseen realms. Filled with generosity of spirit, their images are purposeful, personal, and uniquely philosophical.
