On February 9, 2019 in Kyiv, Ukraine a festival of photo books from publishers and photographers Kyiv Photo Book will be held, first and only festival in Ukraine dedicated to photo books.
The goal of the Festival is developing a communication between authors-photographers and publishers, from one side, and broad circles of art lovers, and, in particular, photography art lovers, in Ukraine.
The Festival consists, firstly, of a fair of photo books from Ukrainian and foreign publishing houses, art galleries and book stores specializing in such literature, as well as directly from photographers who have published their art photo books. Secondly, in parallel with the fair, there will be a powerful educational program (both for photographers and for art lovers).
Such great number of photo books in one place has never been presented in Kyiv yet – since the foundation of the city more than 1500 years ago (not counting a library format).
The Festival will be held at IZONE Creative Community (8 Naberezhno-Lugova St) on Saturday, February 9, 2019, during all day – from 11:00 to 20:00. Entrance to the Festival is free.
