MonoVisions Photography Awards announced the prize winners of its 2017 Photo Contest. The winning photos were selected from more than 4,000 entries from all over world.
The jury of the 1st annual Photo Contest has selected an image by Dutch photographer Kars Tuinder as the Black & White Photo of the Year 2017 and $2000 cash prize.

The panel of judges consisted of Eve Janprasert, Silvan Fässler, Sara Sandström, Conny Dietzshold, Martin Stavars, Caroline Gentsch, Matilde Tiriticco, Sinar Photography, Peter Martin, Maria Oliva, Michael Itkoff, Ann Kristin Plüss and Simon Schwarzer.
Monovisions Awards aim is to discover the best monochrome photographers from all over the world and deliver the best opportunities to be recognized and rewarded for their work. Our annual competition is open to photographers of all backgrounds and all levels, including – professionals and amateurs. We accept all forms of black and white photography created with traditional or digital methods.
