MonoVisions Black & White Photo Contest 2025

My works are instinctive with an interesting mix of grit and finesse. Borne out of the stress of a corporate life that he formerly led, he tries to capture the hidden beauties and joys of quotidian daily life. Different elements and facets in his pictures convey the obvious, reveal the subtle and on other occasions leave the interpretation to the viewer. A life with different layers and shades is communicated through actions, people, animals, nature and other subjects he chooses to show. The rigor that he applies to his practice and what he tries to convey stems from the deep-seated nostalgia of his childhood. These moments in time invite the viewers to experience what he sees but with a subtle independence of one’s own interpretations added to the mix.
