MonoVisions Black & White Photo Contest 2024

Heavenly Bodies – the nudes, is a selection from a larger body of work. Throughout the series, each model is told to display themselves in front of the camera in the way they would like to be represented. Due to the lack of posing the images are raw portraits of individuals who are being captured simply as they are.

Bryce Morrison is a visual artist currently based in Southern California, who was formally trained in Photography and Printmaking. His practice is diverse as he works with several different forms of subject matter and medium, however there is a consistent focus on conceptual depth, strong graphic elements, experimentation, and interdisciplinary installation. Bryce graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photographic Arts from The College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and The Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, ON.

‘Heavenly Bodies’ was the Black & White Nude Series of the Year 2nd place Winner in the MonoVisions Photography Awards 2019.
